About Adobe Acrobat
Adobe Acrobat is Adobe's subscription PDF application. The Standard plan covers creating, editing, converting, exporting and organising PDFs plus filling, signing, password protection and collecting e-signatures. Pro adds a larger set of advanced tools such as redaction, web forms and turning scans into editable PDFs. The Studio plan adds AI Assistant for summaries, answers with citations and chat across files in PDF Spaces, plus generating flyers, social posts and presentations from documents. Subscriptions include desktop software, Acrobat online in the browser, mobile apps and cloud storage; the separate Acrobat Reader is free for viewing PDFs.
Good for
Teams that need a complete PDF toolset covering editing, redaction, forms, OCR of scans and e-signature collection in one subscription, with AI summaries and document chat if they pick the Studio plan.
Watch out for
AI Assistant is only included in the Studio plan per the pricing page; Standard and Pro do not include it. Annual plans billed monthly charge a cancellation fee of up to half the remaining commitment after 14 days, and prepaid annual plans are not refunded after 14 days.
