About ONLYOFFICE

ONLYOFFICE is an office suite available as free Desktop Editors for Windows, macOS and Linux, mobile apps for iOS and Android, a cloud workspace (DocSpace with collaboration rooms) and a self-hosted Docs server for embedding editors into other platforms. The editors handle text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, PDF editing, fillable forms and eBooks, with DOCX, XLSX and PPTX as working formats and ODF support. Real-time co-editing works through ONLYOFFICE cloud or connected platforms such as Nextcloud, ownCloud, Seafile and Moodle. Optional AI tools connect to a provider of your choice, including custom providers and MCP.

Users who want Microsoft Office-format compatibility without a subscription, and organisations that want to self-host document editing or plug it into Nextcloud or similar platforms.

Watch out for

The product range (Desktop Editors, DocSpace, Docs server, Enterprise) is large and pricing differs for each. AI tools need an external AI provider to be configured.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 the Desktop Editors are free for personal and professional use. The cloud pricing page lists a free Startup plan (up to 3 admins, 12 rooms, 2 GB) and Business at $20 per admin/month, with users and guests free; add-ons include extra storage at $0.14/GB/month. Self-hosted pricing was not read.
