About Auphonic
Auphonic is a web service that post-processes speech recordings automatically. Uploaded audio or video runs through noise and reverb reduction, an adaptive leveler, filtering, filler-word, cough and silence cutting, multitrack algorithms and loudness normalization to broadcast or podcast specifications. It can also produce speech-to-text transcripts, automatic show notes, chapters, subtitles and video output. Workflows include file transfer integrations, automatic publishing, watch folders and a public API.
Good for
Podcasters, educators, audiobook producers and broadcasters who want consistent loudness and cleaner speech without manual mixing, including automated pipelines via the API.
Watch out for
The pricing page says productions made with free credits come with an Auphonic jingle, and unused free or recurring credits do not roll over. It is a processing service, not an editor, so cutting and arranging still happen elsewhere.
Pricing notes
As of October 2026 the pricing page lists 2 free hours of processed audio per month, recurring plans from 9 h to 250 h per month, and one-time credits that never expire. Exact prices were not readable in the page text.
