About Pitch Tempo
Pitch Tempo is a web app for musicians preparing practice audio and backing tracks from recordings they own or have permission to process. It estimates musical key and BPM and changes pitch by -12 to +12 semitones independently of tempo, which can be set to 50–150%. Audio is processed on the server. Source files can be up to 5 minutes and 100 MB. An opening 20-second preview lets you listen before exporting; check the complete export before rehearsal or performance. MP3, WAV, FLAC and other supported export formats are available. Guests can make 3 uploads per 24 hours without an account; a free account allows 5 uploads per hour. Guest audio expires 24 hours after the original upload, and account audio after 7 days. The site also offers practical guides and calculators that need no audio upload.
