iLovePDF is a collection of PDF tools in the browser, with desktop apps for Windows and Mac and mobile apps for iOS and Android. It covers organising (merge, split, remove, extract and reorder pages, scan to PDF), optimising (compress, repair, OCR), converting to and from Word, PowerPoint, Excel, JPG, HTML and PDF/A, and editing (rotate, page numbers, watermark, crop, edit, forms). Security tools include unlock, protect, sign, redact and compare. A PDF Intelligence section adds an AI summariser, PDF translation and PDF to Markdown. The same company offers iLoveSign for e-signing and iLoveAPI for developers.

People who need a broad set of free PDF utilities in one place, including OCR, PDF/A conversion, redaction and comparison, and who may want the same tools on desktop and phone.

Watch out for

The free Basic plan has limited tools and document processing, with low batch limits per the comparison table (for example 1 file for Office-to-PDF and 2 for compress). Smart split, smart redact and advanced AI summary or translation are Premium features with page caps.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists Basic free, Premium at US$4/month billed annually (US$48/year) or US$7 billed monthly for 1-25 users, and Business (25+) on request. Premium includes 2,000 AI credits. Students and academics can get a year of Premium free per the pricing page.
