About invideo AI

invideo AI is a web-based video editor built around AI agents. You upload footage and describe edits in plain language; its editing agent logs every clip, applies changes across shots, and works on a multitrack timeline you can take over manually. It includes storyboarding, an AI script co-writer, color, audio and 3D tools, multiplayer editing, and custom agents for roles such as colorist or sound designer. Generative video, image and audio use third-party models such as Seedance, Nano Banana and ElevenLabs on a credit system. External agents like Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini can connect through MCP.

Good for

Creators and small teams who want to direct edits of real footage in plain language, and to mix in AI-generated shots for ads, social cuts or short series without a separate generation tool.

Watch out for

No free plan appears on the pricing page. Per its FAQ, unused credits do not roll over, credit costs can change without notice, and the cheaper Basic plan has no Seedance 2.5 access and only the Lite agent.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists Basic at $9 per seat/month (190 credits), Pro at $30 (1,000 credits) and Ultra at $80 (3,000 credits), each shown at 50% off on annual billing ($4, $15 and $40 per seat/month). Team and Business plans are offered.
