About Pika

Pika is a web-based AI creative studio offering self-contained apps for generating short clips and multi-shot videos up to about 30 seconds, extending footage, color grading, motion transfer and swapping objects in video, plus image editing, character creation and AI music, speech and sound effects. It combines its own Pika 2.5 and Pikaframes models with third-party models such as Seedance, Wan, MiniMax and GPT Image. All generation is paid for with credits. Pika also offers an API, an MCP integration, a ChatGPT integration and an iOS app.

Social creators and ad makers who want quick short-form clips, effects-style edits like swapping or extending footage, and soundtracks generated to match a clip, without managing separate subscriptions for each model.

Watch out for

The Free tier on the pricing page includes 0 monthly credits (credit packs only), and a commercial license is only included from the Creator plan up. Per the pricing page, top-up credits cannot be used with the API or the iOS app.

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists Free (no monthly credits, packs only), Starter at $10/month (900 credits), Creator at $35/month (3,150 credits, commercial license) and Fancy from $95/month (8,550+ credits), with 20% off annually. One-time credit packs start at $25 for 1,500 credits.
