About Khroma
Khroma asks the user to pick a set of colours they like, then trains an in-browser algorithm to generate palettes and two-colour combinations to match those preferences while blocking disliked colours. Results can be viewed as typography samples, gradients, palettes or applied to an image. A search lets users filter generated combinations by hue, tint, value, colour name, hex or RGB. Saved combinations form a personal library showing colour names, hex and RGB values, CSS code and WCAG contrast ratings. It is built by independent designer George Hastings.
Good for
Designers exploring colour pairings for typography and UI who want suggestions tuned to their own taste rather than a generic random palette.
Watch out for
It is a small independent project with a narrow scope: no team features, no pricing page, and no stated roadmap or support terms on the site.
Pricing notes
No paid plans are listed on the site; it is presented as free to use.
