About Paprika Recipe Manager

Paprika is a recipe manager from Hindsight Labs LLC. A built-in browser and bookmarklet save recipes from websites, and users can also add their own recipes with photos and formatted text. It builds grocery lists that combine duplicate ingredients and sort them by aisle, tracks pantry items and expiry dates, and plans meals on daily, weekly or monthly calendars with reusable menus. Cooking tools include ingredient scaling, metric and imperial conversion, tappable timers detected from directions, crossing off ingredients and keeping the screen on. Paprika Cloud Sync keeps recipes, lists and meal plans in sync across iOS, Android, Mac and Windows. Paprika 4 is in open beta.

Watch out for

Each platform version is sold separately, so phone plus computer means buying twice. The Android free version is limited to 50 recipes with no cloud sync.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 no prices were shown on paprikaapp.com, which mentioned a Thanksgiving and Black Friday sale until the end of November. Each version is a separate one-time purchase; the Android listing describes a free version upgraded by in-app purchase.
