About Trello
Trello organises work as boards of lists and cards that move across stages. Cards hold checklists, assignees, due dates, attachments and comments. An Inbox captures to-dos from email, Slack and Microsoft Teams, and Planner syncs with your calendar to block time for tasks. Butler automation runs rules and commands, Power-Ups and integrations connect other tools, and templates cover common workflows. Paid plans add unlimited boards, AI features, card mirroring, more views and admin controls, and an MCP server connects Trello to AI tools. Trello is part of Atlassian and offers iOS and Android apps.
Good for
Individuals and small teams who want a simple visual board for tasks, content calendars or lightweight project tracking.
Watch out for
The Free plan allows up to 10 collaborators and 10 boards per Workspace. AI, advanced views and admin controls require paid plans. Enterprise is billed annually only.
