About Adobe Firefly
Adobe Firefly generates and edits images, video, speech, music and vector graphics in a web app and mobile apps. Its image editor can remove objects, expand backgrounds and upscale, and Firefly Boards gives teams a shared canvas for moodboards and storyboards. Alongside Adobe's own Firefly models it offers partner models such as GPT Image, Google's Nano Banana and FLUX for images, and Runway, Kling and Luma for video. Adobe says its own models are trained on licensed and public-domain content, and Content Credentials are attached to outputs; results can move into Photoshop or Adobe Express.
Good for
Designers and marketing teams already in Adobe's ecosystem who want commercially oriented image generation, Photoshop-style generative edits, and access to several third-party models under one account.
Watch out for
The commercial-safety statement on the plans page covers Adobe's own Firefly models; for partner-model outputs the user is responsible for judging suitability. IP indemnification is limited to eligible enterprise customers. Generative credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Pricing notes
As of October 2026 the plans page lists a free tier with daily generations, then Standard $9.99/month (2,000 credits), Pro $19.99 (4,000), Pro Plus $49.99 (10,000) and Premium $199.99 (50,000), plus team plans. Standard image features such as Generative Fill are unlimited on paid plans; credits are spent on video, audio and partner models. A promotion ending Oct 21 discounted Pro Plus and Premium.
