About Magnific (formerly Freepik)

Magnific, the new name of Freepik's platform, combines AI tools with a library of over 250 million stock photos, vectors, videos and PSDs. Image tools include a generator with its own Magnific One model and Brand Kit, an editor, the Magnific upscaler, image extender, variations, relighting, skin enhancement, camera-angle changes and background removal; it also offers video, audio and 3D generation and many third-party models such as Nano Banana, Kling, Seedance and Veo. Work can be organised in Spaces, a shared canvas. Desktop and mobile apps, plugins, an MCP server, ComfyUI nodes and an API are offered. The earlier stand-alone upscaler remains available as a legacy service at magnific.ai.

Marketing and content teams who want AI generation, high-detail upscaling and a large stock library under one subscription with a commercial AI license.

Watch out for

The Freepik-to-Magnific rebrand is recent, so older tutorials and the legacy magnific.ai upscaler may not match the current product. Credit costs vary widely by model and resolution; check the per-model table before committing. 'Unlimited' generation applies only to specific models on Premium+ and above.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists Premium at €10.50/month billed annually (€15 monthly; 240K credits/year), Premium+ €25.50 (€34; 600K credits/year plus unlimited generations on selected models) and Pro tiers from €62.25, excluding VAT. Credits are valid for a year rather than resetting monthly. Team plans are also offered.
