About Busuu
Busuu offers courses in 14 languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Arabic, built around the CEFR levels from A1 upward. Lessons combine short units, video clips of native speakers, checkpoint quizzes, a personalised study plan and Smart Review for vocabulary and grammar. Its distinctive feature is the community: learners submit written or spoken exercises and get corrections from fluent speakers, and can help others in return. Busuu adds AI-powered grammar training, issues certificates for completed levels, and sells Busuu for Business for employee language training. Founded in 2008, Busuu has been part of Chegg since January 2022.

Pricing notes
As of October 2026 the US App Store lists Premium from $6.99 to $23.49 monthly and 12-month Premium between $70.00 and $138.99, plus 12-month Premium Plus at $139.99. The website premium page is client-rendered and showed no prices.
