About Clipdrop

Clipdrop is a set of single-purpose browser tools for image editing. It includes text-to-image generation, background removal and replacement, Cleanup for removing objects, people, text or defects, an upscaler (2x on the free tier, up to 16x on Pro), relighting, uncrop to extend images to new formats, a text remover, and a resizer for social media sizes. Its developer API is now presented as the Jasper API for embedding the same image models in other products.

Good for

Marketers, e-commerce sellers and social media managers who need fast one-off fixes such as removing a background or object, without learning a full editor.

Watch out for

Free use is capped per tool at around 20 uses per 24 hours with standard-resolution output; high-resolution results and higher limits need Pro. The site's FAQ says its terms do not limit commercial use of generated images.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists a free tier and a Pro plan with a free trial and up to 1,000 uses per tool per 24 hours, but the Pro price did not render in the page text. The API is billed separately by usage.
