About Motion

Motion is a work-management app built around AI scheduling. It takes tasks and projects with their priorities, deadlines, durations and dependencies and builds a calendar plan automatically, re-planning as work changes and warning when a task is at risk of missing its deadline. Around that core it adds AI project creation from a description and documents, Gantt views, meeting scheduling and booking links, an AI meeting notetaker, docs and wikis, dashboards, workflows for repeatable processes, and search across your content. Tasks can be created from forwarded emails, meetings, Slack or Teams messages, or Siri. Motion offers iOS, Android and desktop apps alongside the web app.

There is no lasting free plan, only a free trial. AI use is metered in monthly credits per seat, and the homepage relies on self-reported claims about productivity gains.

Pricing notes

As of October 2026 the pricing page lists Pro AI at $19 per seat/month and Business AI at $29 per seat/month, with 7,500 and 15,000 AI credits per seat respectively. The page has monthly and annual toggles (annual said to save 33%); it is unclear which billing period the shown prices use.
