About OpusClip
OpusClip is a web app that analyzes long-form videos such as podcasts, vlogs, interviews, gaming and sports, and cuts them into short clips with a virality score. It adds animated captions in 20+ languages, reframes footage to vertical or square formats with object tracking, and can add AI B-roll, voice-over, speech enhancement, filler removal and dubbing. Clips can be posted or scheduled to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and other networks, or exported as XML to Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. It also offers an API, an MCP connector and team workspaces.
Good for
Podcasters, streamers, marketers and agencies who regularly repurpose long recordings into many short social clips and want captions, reframing and scheduling in one place.
Watch out for
Per the pricing page, the free plan adds a watermark, has no editing, and clips can only be exported for 3 days. Starter is monthly-only, and API access is limited on Pro with full API on custom Business plans.
Pricing notes
As of October 2026 the pricing page lists Free (60 credits a month), Starter at $15/month (150 credits), Pro at $29/month or $14.50/month billed annually (300 credits, rollover for 2 months, 2 seats), and custom Business pricing. Paid plans offer a free trial without a credit card.
