About Bitwig Studio

Bitwig Studio is a digital audio workstation that combines a clip launcher for improvising and performing with a linear arranger, for Windows, macOS and Linux. Its modular design includes The Grid, an environment for building your own instruments and effects, and a universal modulation system that can connect modulators to almost any parameter. Plugins run sandboxed to limit crashes. It includes 140+ instruments and effects and over 20 GB of sound content in the full edition, MPE support and hardware integration. It is sold in Essentials, Producer and Bitwig Studio editions, each with 12 months of free updates.

Watch out for

Each licence includes 12 months of updates; after that, renewal or upgrade offers are shown in your Bitwig account. The Essentials and Producer editions have fewer devices and modulators than the full edition.
